Visitors 18 years of age and older will be required to show a REAL ID-compliant document to enter Fermilab. Please see the appropriate documents here.

Visiting Lederman Science Center

Lederman Science Center Fall Hours

November: Lederman Science Center is open to the public Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Center is closed Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th for the lab holiday. Our hours will resume on Saturday, November 30th.

Lederman Science Center Winter Hours 

December: Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Closed Saturdays and Sundays 

The Center is closed at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24th and all-day Wednesday, December 25th for the lab holiday. Our hours will resume on Thursday, December 26th. 

The Center is additionally closed at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31st and all-day Wednesday, January 1st for the lab holiday. Our hours will resume on Thursday, January 2nd. 

January and February: Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturdays 11:30a.m.-3 p.m., Closed on Sundays

The center is easily accessible from Fermilab’s main entrance at Kirk Road and Pine Street in Batavia, just three miles north of the I-88/Farnsworth Avenue tollway interchange.

From the main entrance, turn east into the Fermilab site. Lederman Science Center is the second building on the right.
